Flair distribute a wide range of
propellers for all needs including electric power although these are listed
under Electric Flight. Wooden propellers have the advantage of light weight and rigidity and are capable of delivering best performance. This said, we have had reports that the light weight of wooden propellers does not always suit 4 stroke engines. The greater inertia of a glass filled nylon prop can maintain a more even speed through the power, exhaust, induction and compression strokes. Propeller balance should always be checked and adjusted if necessary; do not assume that a new prop will be in balance. Refer to the SLEC section of this web to find a very useful prop balancer. |
