Fibafilm: For those looking for maximum strength with minimum weight on the smaller radio model or free flight model Fibafilm is the answer. This polyester film is fibre reinforced but does not carry the additional weight penalty of a complete adhesive coating. The airframe is treated with Balsaloc only in the areas where the film is to be fixed. The film can then be fixed in the normal way, hot iron edges, then heat shrink.
